Eat, drink and be merry

Hurrah, some good news for the usually miserably rainy month of November. The Good Wine Show is coming to the Clarion hotel in Cork.

My top 3 independent wine sellers (no favouritism here, I’ll tell ya) in Cork have united to bring us, what looks to be,  a fabulous couple of days. Over 100 different wines to sample,  gourmet treats, prizes and discounts all under one roof.

Having extensively sampled Curious Wines, Bubble Brothers and Karwig wines stock, all in the name of research for my WSET cert,  of course,  I can predict they’ll be plenty of wine to suit a wide range of palates.

Check it out and get your tickets on the Good Wine Show site, or at any of the individual wine stores. Top value at €15 for one session or €25 if you want to attend both days.

Looking forward to trying new and different wine from the new and old world. Shall take this opportunity to get my Christmas wine sorted. Will definitely be there.
