Fionn’s still got a lump
April 3rd, 2008
Despite having ultrasound and eventually a MRI towards the end of last year, we still are none the wiser as to what’s causing the lump on the 2 year old’s back that continues to grow. Or whether it will have any impact on his health.
Thankfully though it apparently is not a tumour and may be “calcification of the muscle”.
Back to consultant this afternoon to see what if anything should be done next.

Hey Deborah, Yummymummy
Thankfully he’s in top form and it doesnt impact on his humour at all. Despite a delay of 2 hours, he was happy to play in the waiting room and was great craic.
Looks like we’re off to Crumlin again for a CT scan. This will hopefully give us a definitive answer of what is in the lump.
Thanks for all the good wishes.

Hey Mrs,
Hopefully the next CT scan will give you a definitive answer :). At least it looks like something very innocent at this stage - will keep the fingers crossed.

Morning Curly K,
Cheers. He’s gone off to playschool in his new Spiderman tshirt to show his best friend Erica so methinks he’s not too traumatised today!
Hopefully we’ll get appointment quickly and get it resolved speedily.
