It looked like it was hard work alright but the results appeared to be appreciated by all. The setting and food combination looked brilliant and I’d say it was definitely an evening to remember!

Having looked at the prog regarding Kevin Thornton he was really under pressure to get everything right & I’m so pleased he did.Kev is actually my brother & I’m so proud of him he did something no one else could!! I just wish I could have been there to witness it.Kev really does believe in having the best natural ingredients for all his food.So well done to Kev, Muriel, Gar,Em & everyone else involved in what was a feast fit for a King or Queen.

Hey Deborah,
Yep nearly gave up on the series too, was just hoping upon hope that it improved and thankfully this episode was a huge improvement on the first 2.

Saying that though, the trailer for the next one doesn’t look great, italian chef in a circus.

Its a pity, as there’s no doubt Ireland has some great chefs and could produce some wonderful food programmes. Couldn’t blame the diners for flinching at the €150

I didn’t watch it - gave up after first one! Too bad!

Shame on RTE though for expecting people to pay for the privilege of being on their show.
