Review of Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes
September 9th, 2007
Off putting fragrance and thicker wipes make these my least favourite brand of babywipes.

With 2 children in nappies and 3 others very messy, we buy and use many packets of baby wipes every week. I have found most brands to be fairly similar in texture, cleaning ability and price: Tesco own brand, Pampers and Boots own brand of wipes all work well here. So I just tend to buy whichever is on a price offer that week. Last week I bought some Huggies Natural care wipes as they were on a 2 for the price of 1 offer. They are “softly quilted” and are “enriched with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E”. They are lightly fragranced also according to the blurb. To be honest, I don’t find their smell particularly good. But my main problem with them is that they are thicker than other wipes and therefore less flexible. This makes it more awkward to get them out of the packet which can make changing the baby’s nappy that bit more difficult as usually I’m holding her legs with one hand and getting wipes out with the other. The wipes also seem to stick together more than I’m used to with other brands. I don’t think I’ll be buying them again.
