Kool Lite children’s bedside lamps
Excellent, dimable, tough, long lasting beside lamps.
I first bought a Disney cars one of these for the 5 year old over a year ago. Since, I’ve bought a princess one for the girls’ room and a football themed one for the 8 year old’s room.
They are great so far. A long lasting bulb is encased in the hardplastic shade part of the lamp. This is cool to touch and doesn’t heat up. They can be dimmed easily using a knob on the top of the lamp and therefore can be left on all night as a night light which isn’t too bright. Ours have been dropped and fallen on a few occasions and are still going strong.
They are quite expensive and we’ve yet to see how difficult or easy it is to change the light bulb once it goes, but so far so good with these lights. Would definitely recommend.

Handy tubs of pureéd fruit for babies and toddlers.
Ok, so I’m a baaad mammy and I don’t make all the baby and toddler’s food from scratch. But if I get to make most of the main meals I think I’m doing ok. Life’s too short sometimes for doing everything and I find the Frutapura tubs from cow and gate brilliant for “on the go” snack for the 7 month old. She also loves them mixed with yoghurt or poured over her breakfast cereal.
The almost 2 year old also still has his weetabix in the morning covered with some.
They come in a wide range of fruit combinations and appear to be 100% or near enough pure fruit. No added preservatives, artifical flavouring or colouring. Our pair are particularly fond of the banana, peach and strawberry combo, or the apple, banana and orange.
Very handy, they come in small recyclable plastic tubs.
